(May 27 - 8:29pm)
The curbs are still needed to be added before paving. Do you notice the shed on the left? It gets moved.
(June 8th - 10:25am) In the photo below:
The curb molds are now getting built. The truck on the right is the next few pictues.
By moving your mouse over the picture you will see the North and South end view. Notice the temporary by-pass lane is being constructed. You also can see blue houses in the background. A wall with a brown wooden fence will eventually block that view.
In the photo below (June 8th - 10:26am):
(North end view) - The by-pass lane is being created. Truck loads of dirt have been brought in to create it and the parking lot.
Notice those homes with blue roofs. In later pictures you will not be able to see them.
In the photo below (June 8th - 10:29am):
(South end view) - Did you notice on the right side of the picture? The retaining wall footings have been poured.
In the photo below (June 9th - 1:15pm):
(South end view) Back Support Wall is being made ready for concrete. After the concrete wall is in place the area can then be filled in with dirt. This will be the parking lot.
In the photo below (June 10th - 1:36pm):
The temporary by-pass lane is now ready for Old Victoria Road to be cut in half.
- Did you notice in the background the retaining wall is now blocking the view of the houses in blue. The fence goes on top of that.
(June 11th - 3:10pm)
Traffic stops for a moment while Bocat Berry moves some dirt.
The temporary by-pass lane is now being used because the road had to be cut so power lines can be layed under the road.
Do you see that Brother working all crouched over?
(3:11pm)
Where the dirt in the middle sits, will be a new street light. The Brother in the middle is making sure the newly installed manhole is ready.
(3:11pm)
Transport truck is waiting along with a few others for the ok from the TCP. She's the one with the stop sign in the background. They have been stopped for about 2mins.
(3:12pm)
The transport truck that has been waiting along with a few others is now driving threw the by-pass lane
while work of covering over the power lines so that they can re-pave and re-open Old Victoria Rd.
(3:12pm)
TCP is saying SLOW to north bound traffic because it is single lane traffic and because Bobcat Berry is moving some dirt. - That orange traffic control cone on the left side is where the new street light will be.
... And the road gets completed ...
